Update

I have officially made it farther with this pregnancy!!! I had the abruption and delivered Aidan at 29 weeks, 2 days. I am now at 29 weeks, 3 days!!! Also Baby B is already 3 lbs. Aidan was 2 lbs, 14 oz.

Of course, I still want to make it as far as I can, but now that I have made it this far, my main goal is to avoid any and all emergencies. My OB is also determined to avoid that. She has said repeatedly that she may decide to deliver very early if she thinks Baby B will be safer in the NICU. And while we would love to have a full term baby, we are totally behind her decisions.

For the last several weeks, my BP has been pretty great for me. I expected to see the 3rd trimester jump in BP on the first day of week 28. [:D] So I have been thrilled that a didn't. The last couple of days it has been a bit higher, but it has done that throughout this pg and always gone back down. So I don't know if this will turn out to be the first sign or just another adjustment my body is doing. Either way, I feel great to have made it this far!!! Whatever happens from here, I feel confident that we will take this baby home this time! [:)]

We are very close together in our pregnancies. I am due on June 8th (via ultrasound - June 11th via LMP - I am going for May 31st!!). I am glad that baby b looks good. I love making my two week goals - just 2 more weeks and I'll be happy I keep telling myself!

That's great Amanda! I'm amazed our stories are so similar! I had the abruption and delivered Erik at 29 weeks and he was 2# 14.9 oz!! I'm praying these pregnancies are similar, too, and we both go A LOT farther! Hang in there, you're doing great!

I just heard that another woman I know - whose first baby sadly did not survive - just delivered a healthy 5+ pound baby yesterday (just a tad early). They are over the moon, as I know you will be shortly!
Keep up the good work, you and Baby B are in my thoughts!
