I've already made it past two of my big dates. The first was May 1st when I was exactly 20 weeks...because that's when I was diagnosed with PE last pregnancy. The second date just came...when I was exactly 27 weeks is when they wanted to "take" my son and gave me the steriod shots, but thankfully my protein levels dropped 400 points overnight and they kept dropping and stayed down. I won't feel the complete relief until my baby is due and is delivered and in my arms. :-) I do feel so blessed to have come this far without any major problems. I am 27w 3d.

I feel a lot better now, since I am more than 4 weeks past where I was when my daughter was born, with no signs of pre-e. I'll feel much better though if I can get at least another 3 weeks out of this little one, which would bring me to at least 32 weeks. We are planning a repeat c-section at somewhere between 37 and 38 weeks.

For me I will START to relax when I am past 33 weeks with no bp/PE symptoms. I had my son at 33 weeks because PE came on all of a sudden. Then if I am at 36 weeks I will feel very relaxed!:) I am hoping they will take the baby out at 38 weeks just because my due date is right after Christmas. If they do it'll be just enough away from Christmas. Although I am just hoping for the healthiest baby!:)

My first was 37 weeks...second was 31 weeks...MFM was afraid of this baby coming at 24 weeks...

So I was glad to make it to and past 24 weeks.

Now I'm looking forward to 31 weeks...which is when my youngest was born...

I'd love to make it 38 plus weeks...

I won't feel good until, as many have said, the little one is here safe and sound!

I know I'll stress around 26 weeks but so far I'm taking it one day at a time. I'm 9 1/2 weeks now and that makes me happy.

The BF and I have decided we are not finding out the sex of the baby. I thought I wanted to know but in all honesty if I am pregnant with a boy I might stress more knowing what happened with Tyler. I just want to get through this with as little stress as possible.

I agree with the others--when that baby is in my arms and I get to take him home when I go home. (my son was in for 2 months)

That said--I'm now 36 weeks. My last preg. ended at 36 1/2 weeks due to HELLP. I find that I'm starting to get a little more anxious when I go to the dr as I found out I was having him at my weekly appointment- admitted immediately. I'm nervous that will happen again and yet at the same time have the "feeling" that it isn't and things will be fine. This pregnancy is going so well and is SO SO SO much different than that one.
So in a way I do feel somewhat "safe" now that I'm 36 weeks. At this point I'm more concerned about a healthy baby as my first has disabilities--so once that little boy is in my arms...I'll really feel "safe". :) Good luck.

I won't feel totally safe until around 6 weeks after delivery when the post partum danger is gone. My problems started late and were fairly insignificant until a week post partum...

That said, I'll be happy if I get past 34 weeks with no protein or 37 weeks without a rise in blood pressure. If I'm at 38 weeks and there are no symptoms, we induce just to avoid the post partum mess I had last time around...
