Would you be willing to share your experiences with my wife and I? It seems like you have gone threw exactly what we are starting to go threw. After the loss of Shane she was diegnosed with Lupus Anticoagulent, and should she get pregnant again she probably will have to go threw exactly what you are. I know she will be required to get the shots of lovenox as well. If you would be willing, email me Thanks!

Congratulations....... any nesting kicking in yet? If you are totally on top of things and ready with bag packed etc... you are welcome to come and burn some of that energy off on my house. Chloe is 10 months old and I still haven't put away all my "going to the hospital stuff" or her "brand-new and cuddly" things either. Yes, I am the slattern that my mother thinks I am.

Joy - After having eclampsia last time, I've found out that I have Factor V Leiden, which is a blood clotting disorder. So I am taking heparin/lovenox to thin my blood a little.

Other than that, nothing else different that I'm doing. Tons more dr appts, NST's and UltraSounds this time. I'm trying to watch my salt intake, but I'm sure that's not preventing pre-e, just lessens my swelling I think.

This is the day I delivered my daughter 16 months ago due to eclampsia. I'm at 34 weeks and 5 days now. Glad to have made it this far with no symptoms of pre-eclampsia. Just need to make it to June 4th, which is my scheduled c-section date! Can't wait to be unpregnant...
