Nancy, Of course not! LOL Dr. You-won't-get-again was the one on call.
Though, luckily the ultrasound was a full abdominal ultrasound (whatever you call it) so it included my gallbladder, kidneys, liver, spleen and pancreas. The u/s tech told us absolutely nothing...I didn't even get to see the screen. I won't know till tomorrow afternoon at the earliest, she said. There is no longer a radiologist in town so they send out the pics over the wire to one of their sister hospitals (in Oregon, I think) for the radiologist to look over then contact the ordering doctor. In theory that should be able to happen quickly, but what are the chances of that? They gave me no further instructions about when to see the doctor or anything other than taking medication for pain. Perhaps the radiology situation is why they gave me 2-3 days worth of meds. I am on a low-fat, low-grease diet per my mother since that is a no-no with gallbladder issues. Might as well try? Though a cheese pizza sounds SO GOOD right now! LOL Half tempted to eat it while I still can and just take meds for pain...LOL I'm bad, I know. And Britton won't let me, don't worry!
So, no news other than that. I may call the OB office and play dumb about when I'll get info, let them know I had the u/s this am, and ask about further instructions (like do I need to be on a low-fat/grease diet?). If this is anything major it may be a good idea to go see a perinatologist in WA once and for all? With my luck they'll probably find absolutely nothing!
Again, thankyou and I'll let you know when/if I find anything out.
