What was the silliest thing you ever did...

I recently read an article in a parenting mag about the silliest things parents did while preg/sleep deprived or both.

It was pretty hilarious, so I thought we could get a discussion going here.

I know my #1 experience was when I put Neosure formula in my coffee, one morning when Bella was about 2 1/2 months old.
I was asking myself,"why does this taste like sh*t?".
Then I saw what I had done.
I think I was more upset about wasting the formula,$$$[:o)].

*On my DH's behalf, I have found the milk in the cabinet and the cereal in the fridge on more that one occasion[:p]

After abpout 10 minutes..I was going to get another bag ready and dh came home...he's was like"What's a matter" and I told him how I made all these snacks and packed my bag and couldn't find it anywhere...He was like uhmm....Mada, did you check your back? I didn't do anything too crazy, but my DH did. We would always pre-make the baby's nighttime bottles and put them in a cool pack lunch thingy in the fridge and them take the pack upstairs at night to save ourselves a trip downstairs in the middle of the night. My DH accidentally took my daughter's coolpack to work for his lunch. Needless to say the jokes from his co-workers were endless when he pulled out a bottle for lunch...

We were desperate for sleep when Evan was teething a couple of months ago. We tried everything-cold washrag, frozen washrag, teething rings, teething tablets, teething gel, extra strength teething gel... Finally my husband figured out that if we put him on top of the dryer in his infant car seat and turned it on that it magically calmed him down and helped him go back to sleep. Looked pretty ridiculous as he had outgrown the car seat but worked like a charm. I highly recommend it to anyone who has tried everything but can't console their little sweetie!!

My husband accidently drank Alimentum (SMELLS LIKE POO, must taste even worse)!!!

My daughter was soooooo colicky and the only thing that helped was turning the vacuum on. Sometimes, we'd leave it on for 8 hours at a time a night. We went through 3 vacuums by the time she was 6 months old!! I bet our neighbors thought we were bonkers (lived in an apartment at the time)!!! The poor cats have hated us ever since [:p]

Well, I was going through the motions of doing laundry when my colicky-Kyle was about 2 months old. I went back down the 3 flights to transfer from the washer to the dryer and realized I never actually put the clothes in!!!

(But the agitator was sparkly clean!)
