High Cardiac Ouput

My pule has been in the 90s but has dropped considerably with the Atenolol. Last night it was about 75 or so.

My pulse was high, but it is more complex then that - interestingly I have always had a high pulse, my Peri upped my Atenolol until my pulse was under a certain number.

Thanks, Shannon. Question- was your pulse high? What were your symptoms? My pulse has been really high, but no one seems to know why.

Sheri-ct, it is basically an analysis of how how your body is working to pump adequate blood (at least that is my understanding). The results are graphed against data of other pregnant woman to see where you land. It is pretty interesting.

It is so great to see ladies that have had high cardiac output make it so far in their pregnancies. I'm really glad to have a team following me and watching me and they do seem like an awesome team. I'm hoping for full term this time. As my doctor said, it would be great for me to be able to take a newborn home from the hospital with me.

I too was on Atenolol for high cardiac output - doesn't it feel good to have such a caring team on your side - for me the proactive approach felt right.
