Just found this: http://www.stronghealth.com/services/wo ... stress.cfm

Baby was awake and I'm not on drugs so that leaves two other options. And I'm not so sure that 32 weeks is too premature since we started them with no problem at 28 last time and my dr planned to start me at 30 wks this pg for that very reason. Guess I have more questions for tomorrow now.

Oh, and if they do end up suspecting low oxygen levels are they likely to wait till I have other symptoms like oligo/IUGR/decreased movements before acting or what? And what other testing would you expect?

Nothing concrete yet. Still hanging out with Laura/Lara Julianne or Julianna ____ that we've had forever. Waiting to see if my cousin has a Julia or a boy in the next few weeks as she is now overdue.

And they changed the position over and over again. I was strapped on for an hour and forty minutes. Granted, I don't think the first 40 or so counted. Then they didn't have it in the right place for the next 20+. But when the nurse finally came in and stayed and still couldn't get good accelerations with plenty of movement and changing positions is when they decided to call the dr. Probably means nothing but it just seems weird.

Catherine....

Most likely the belt was in the wrong place!.. It happens alot of the baby was not in a good position for monitoring.

Hang in there and let us know what the doctors said...

Hey, did you guys pick out names yet?....

Ding dongs always worked well when I had a u/s with Emma, but I can't have those now. LOL

They did use the little zapper on Emma once when I was farther along to wake her up. They didn't use it yesterday though because the baby was awake and moving, her heart rate just wasn't reacting to it in the normal way, apparently. Her heart rate line looked nearly as flat as my contraction line. Atleast we didn't get huge dips, eh? I'll let you know if/when I find out anything Friday.

Catherine...

I had the same thing with Casey but it was at 27 weeks and they sent me for a BPP just to make sure everything was ok. I really think if the stuipd tech did her job instead of being on the phone he would had passed.... Lucky you on Juice... I get NOTHING... Gotta bring my own so I make it a ding dong and a coke LOL!!!

Thanks for the idea, I think i'll use a nutty bar before my BPP! That usually gets the little one going!

i did with bella.
it was at 32-33-ish.
they used this shocker thing that looked like a pen to "wake her up".

ultimately she was fine.
good luck, try to stay calm.
i know it's hard:)
