I'm very glad to hear that, again! My only problem is that Erik was even bigger at this point, and we lost him due to the abruption. I'm still banking on the fact that that was due to my clotting disorder and the lovenox I'm taking is going to help that! Gosh - I really need to focus on the positive, instead of the "what ifs." It's hard, tho, as most of you know! I take comfort in Amanda, who had the same thing happen, and now she has her little girl!!

Therese,

I was told the same thing as Lisa - making it to 28 weeks without growth restriction is a very positive sign. He said that if we can do that, then we can breathe a little sigh of relief as we have made it over one huge hurdle!

That's good to know, Lisa! At my last ultrasound I was measuring exactly where I was at, with a couple of measurements measuring bigger! I thought that was a good sign!

Thanks for all the thoughts, ladies!!

Hi Therese,

I've been told by a perinatologist that making it to 28 wks with no signs of growth restriction is a good sign. I'll be keeping you in my thoughts. You've just about rounded a corner (so to speak)!

28 weeks!

Postby twolfgram » Sat Jun 19, 2004 08:56 am

I am officially 28 weeks today! Now comes the scary part! Making it through this week to next Sat - 29 weeks. At this point, with Jonathan, I was already in the hospital with HELLP, and I've been doing good, so that's a relief. However, at this point with Erik, my BP's were really low and I had absolutely no clue anything was wrong - it's so hard to know whether I should be excited or not! Of course, I'd be happier if this little guy was moving all the time, but he doesn't. One thing I have to remember is that for both of my US's, the tech said he's moving a lot and I couldn't feel it, so I have to believe he's doing a lot, and I can't feel it. I go for my first BPP next Friday - keep me in your prayers!!
