Yep skinny, 107 with both pregnancies, now 110 at 9 weeks with this pregnancy. But I had severe PE, Hellp, and eclampsia. So no it did not really help me any. Sorry to bust your bubble.

My first pregnancy I was a little over weight when I got pregnant and didn't exercise regularly...got post partum pe. My second I had become a runner after I had my first, and was in the best shape of my life. I also ended up with pe. So I was in both situations and still had it!!

I'm not "skinny," but I've started both pregnancies at a healthy BMI and I exercise regularly throughout pregnancy. It didn't matter. I got it anyway.

I was skinny and healthy for all 3 of my pregnancies. I eat healthy and did everything I was supposed to do. I had PE/HELLP and Eclampsia with my 1st at 27 weeks and with my miracle son made it to 35 weeks and managed to only get PE then delivered my 3rd son stillborn at 25 weeks with PE and HELLP after 15 weeks of partial and complete bedrest.
Def doesnt matter if you are healthy and skinny.

I am a runner who normally weighs about 102 pounds when running regularly (I'm 5'1"). I had really cut down on my running when I was trying to get pregnant with Carolina, and weighed 106 when I got pregnant. I got preeclampsia pretty early, so I can attest to the fact that being "skinny" pre-pregnancy does not guarantee that one will not get preeclampsia.

We have lots of skinny gals around here who have ended up with pre-e. It is always best for a pregnancy to start out at a healthy body weight, and being at a heavier weight can bring on complications, but just because you are skinny doesn't mean you won't have issues, and just because you are heavier doesn't mean that you will.

Low body fat -less chance

I read that if you have low body fat before you get pregnant you have a much decreased chance of getting preeclampcia.

I am 5'4 and was 135 pds when I got pregant.

Anyone skinny people dissprove this? :)
