Lilah Noel is here

Postby panguitch02 » Sat Jan 22, 2011 08:44 pm

Lilah Noel arrived Jan 2nd via VBAC 6lb 13oz peanut, but I was only 6lb 4oz and my sister 6lb 14 oz. Though this pregnancy was complicated, it was so much better. In the end I was on 6 weeks of bed rest for unmedicated PIH, which started to slowly creep around 19-20 weeks. I was watched very closely with 2x weekly fetal monitoring appts, results reviewed by the hospital's perinatology team as well as my OB, starting at 32 weeks.

I was released on Labetalol to control the pp BPs, which are now down so I have only needed my meds 3 times this week (only take if BPs are above 140/90).

What a difference it is bringing home a full term baby! No NICU, apnea monitor, synagis, etc....

Good luck and my prayers are with all the preggers.
Shannon (34) & Jason (35)
Jameson 6/1/07 33 weeks to Severe PE... 5 weeks NICU
Lilah Noel 1/2/11 PIH from 19 weeks... VBAC at 40 weeks
