YAY! Welcome baby Blaine! Glad everyone is safe and healthy.

Baby Biko, here and gone Nov.28,2008 at 28 weeks due to severe HELLP.
Remy born Feb.4,2010 at 34 weeks (3 lbs 10 oz) due to Preeclampsia. Lovely and so healthy!
Balu born Oct.21,2011 at 37 week. PE and HELLP free!

Please just keep watching your bp and signs and symptoms - we worry about post-partum PE for the next 6 weeks. I hope you are in the clear though and will get to enjoy your new baby without any more health issues!!

Congratulations!
Our first son was born and passed in Feb of 2010. Born at 29 weeks due to HELLP and passed due to NEC. We miss him every day. :~(

Our second son was born at 39 weeks gestation in Nov of 2011. No HELLP or pre-e! Took LDA starting at week 12 and went off of it at week 38!

Hurray for Blaine! SO glad your doctor was proactive and that you are both doing well! I can just imagine the smell of newborn goodness! Take care of yourself and that sweet boy!

PE showed up yesterday. Just a mild case but because it moved so quickly with Cooper's pregnancy and we were only a day short of 36 weeks my OB thought it was best to go ahead and deliver before I got really sick. After no signs or symptoms up through last week's checkup, I had a minor headache, my bp went into the 140s/100s, protein was showing for the first time during this pregnancy and I had gained 7 pounds since last weighed two weeks ago after only gaining two Pounds total before that. Blaine was born at 8:44 yesterday evening via c-section. He is 5 pounds, 15 ounces and 19.5 inches long. Blaine is perfect and both he and I are doing great. I am hoping to be able to go home tomorrow or Friday. While I hate that PE showed up at all, I am very thankful that it held off until now and are extremely grateful to have a healthy child and not to have gotten as sick as I could have.
