SCH and Preeclampsia?

I'm just curious if any of you ladies have researched or know if there's a correlation between subchorionic hematoma's (sorry if I botched the spelling) and pe? I had an SCH in my last pregnancy at about 11 weeks... it makes sense to me that poor implantation would lead to an SCH... but then again I know they are much much more common than pe. I'm just curious if anyone knows?

I would love to hear what everyone says also. I had spotting in the beginning of my last pregnancy which I'm sure was a subchoronic bleed and later got PE. This pregnancy I actually did have a subchoronic bleed that was found during a ultrasound around week 5 and later dissolved around week 12, no PE so far but high blood pressure issues.

I'm curious about this as well, I was spotting (and sometimes heavier) throughtout my entire 1st trimester and partway into the 2nd with at least one large sch.

I asked my dr's about it (OB and MFM) and both kinda said "well, yea maybe it could have been related, but not necessarily because lots of women have SCH's and don't go on to have preeclampsia." I'm just curious because with my son I had one at about 11weeks, this time I've had some very light brown spotting earlier on, but no SCH so of course what I'd love to hear is that that's a good sign. But I was just wondering if anyone had actual information on it... I guess I'll just have to wait and see.

Women with subchorionic hematoma were also at increased risk of abruption (from 0.7% to 3.6%, pooled OR 5.71, 95% CI 3.91-8.33), preterm delivery (from 10.1% to 13.6%, pooled OR 1.40, 95% CI 1.18-1.68), and preterm premature rupture of membranes (from 2.3% to 3.8%, pooled OR 1.64, 95% CI 1.22-2.21), but not small for gestational age (OR 1.69, 95% CI 0.89-3.19) or pre-eclampsia (OR 1.47, 95% CI 0.37-5.89)...

but I seem to remember Heather (blythe) finding the opposite at one point...
