When I met with a new MFM we talked about how I have PCOS and how I deveoped GD in my pregnancy with Gracie. I forget what exactly I said- something to the affect of me reducing carbs or sweets or dieting or something, but I do remember him saying "I'd rather have you eat what you are going to eat and then we'll treat the diabetes when/if it happens."
I have been dwelling on this recently. Is it irresponsible of him to say that? Shouldn't he say "Eat a healthy diet, it's better for you" or would he say that because I probably am going to develop it again because of my history?
