I have recently found out I am expecting baby #2 and we are delighted although I am (like all of you would be) secretly scared. I was hoping there may be some other mums out there that are due March (Im an due 8th March) that wanted to keep in touch intermittently throughout the pregnancy.

I was hospitalised at 27 weeks for severe PE, put on Mag Sulphate for 3 days while they gave me steroid injections for the baby and was booked in each day for a c-section (if I didn't worsen to bad over night they would let me go another day)... to their amazement I stabilised all my levels, didn't get better but wasn't getting worse until 30 weeks when I had an emergency c-section as I developed HELLP syndrome.

I have a beautiful baby girl - born 1lb9oz.

Congratulations on baby#2 :D .

A subsequent pregnancy after having experienced PE is very scary. There are a few of us who are currently expecting (me included), though I am due in early Dec. We can definitely keep each other company.

Hi, newbie posting, but I'm in the same boat as you. Our son was born at 26 weeks last summer (after a quick jump from mild pre-e to Stage IV HELLP in the course of 4 days) but he only made it to 2 months old (late-onset NEC).

Now I've just found out I'm pregnant again. I'm probably due March 15-20 (have my first dr. appt. Wed.)
I'm thrilled, but completely terrified.

Good luck to us all!

Gratiana, I'm glad you found us but sorry you had to. Cautious congratulations on your new pregnancy. I'm so sorry that your baby Felix died last year. We have many moms who have lost their babies, and a few who have experienced NEC as well, so if you ever need to talk to women who understand, our G&L moms are amazing. Let us know what you need in this new pregnancy, we're not docs but we've had a huge range of experiences and we've read a lot, and we'll do our best.

Congratulations!! I am due March 10th with baby #3. My 1st was born at 28w6d due to severe pe and weighing only 1lb. 10oz. My second was born at 36 weeks due to low growth and my high BP but I was pe free and my DD was little at 4lbs 8oz, but healthy and got to come home with me! Hoping for a similar pregnancy to #2 this time. Hopefully we will both have long and boring pregnancies :)

Hi everyone, I'm 6 weeks with EDD 15/3/2013 (my birthday) with my 2nd (My eldest is 17) and I had severe pre eclampsia in labour with my 1st and I'm really worried it will happen again. Its good to know that other people are in the same boat and I'd love to keep in touch and that yes I too hope we do have long boring pregnancies, complication free births and happy healthy babies!!

Great to hear from all of you, and thanks for the welcome—it helps that we're all going through this together.

Having seen my doctor, I'm now officially due March 20. The super-frustrating thing was that my nerves made my blood pressure way above normal—I was 110/70 at home this morning, and 132/84 in the doctor's office! He didn't seem concerned, but humph anyway. He wants to see me again to get a heartbeat at the end of next week, after which he'll send me off to the MFM and to get baseline labs done (lots of bloodwork, plus 24hr urine test, bleh).

What stage are you all at?
