We're doing fine! Thanks so much for thoughts and prayers. Long story short, I received the diagnosis of pre-e last Wednesday. I started reading around on here mostly about others who developed hellp with much lower bp's and protein than mine. This worried me Saturday. I went to labor and delivery Saturday just wanting to get liver enzymes tested and platelet count. I had abdominal pain, headaches, and nausea. Went to labor and delivery and basically my bp wouldn't go down. I'd been experiencing elevated bp for about two weeks at that point but really high, not going down after laying down for about a few days. So, my bp wouldn't go down at the hospital. They decided to induce. Baby wasn't passing NST's as we waited for me to dilate. My bp was increasing. Also, every time I would have a contraction, he would have a heart decel. So, C section! Ugh. One of my worse nightmares. Baby was delivered at 2 am, 4 pounds 15 ounces, 17 inches! So, I'm still in postpartum and he's in nicu. Doing very well I must say. We both are. I had no hellp this time. Just pre-e! After my son learns to maintain his own temperature he can go home. I should be discharged by Friday and him as well. Can you believe it?!?! So, thanks you guys sooooo much! I couldn't have gotten to this finish line without you! I was so knowledgeable and cautious. Got that from this site!
10/17/2011 ~ Mychael Elaine was born sleeping. We miss and will always love you!
9/16/2012 ~ Michael Leon was born, God is so good! Severe pre-e again, induced at 34 weeks, c-section due to baby's heart decelerating with each contraction. 1 week in NICU. I'm done! :)
