classical c-section scar/ anterior placenta

Postby ellemoon » Tue Apr 09, 2013 08:40 pm

I had my anatomy scan yesterday and it looks like we are having another healthy baby girl. :)

The doctor did say though that my placenta is anterior and is over my classical scar (vertical). The seperation looked nice and thick and they said that would keep an eye on it as I get closer to due date.

Does anyone have any experience with classical scars and anterior placenta, good or bad? Thanks!

I had a classical c-section the first time around, however, my placenta attached at the back with my second baby. I am glad that they will be watching you closely. How are you doing? How is baby?

So far, so good. :) Baby is measuring right on track right now and my blood pressure seems to be behaving nicely. No swelling so far. So I'm keeping my fingers crossed that the next 16 weeks go by smoothly. Thanks for asking!
