Hooray! Hope you still have quite a long ways to go of being pregnant (with no pre-e, of course!).
DS born Dec. 2008 at 38.5w gestation. Mild PE diagnosed 3 hours before he was born
DD born Dec. 2010 at 40w1d. BP was slightly elevated since 37w, and climbed while in labor (started on my own). Severe PE diagnosed hours after DD born.
DD born Sept. 2013 at 38w. Induced (and I had to fight for it!) due to high blood pressure. No protein, but had brisk reflexes and clonus after delivery. Doc gave me a mild preeclampsia diagnosis anyway and said I'm likely to be a chronic hypertensive later in life.

Good news!

Here's hoping for a boring, un-eventful pregnancy!
Hypothyroid mom to
Connor (severe pre-e at 38 weeks)
Claire (dx'd with pre-e and induction at 37 weeks)
Annabelle (chronic HTN & GD, superimposed pre-e @34 weeks, induction @37 weeks)

23 weeks!

Postby ellemoon » Tue May 07, 2013 09:53 am

I've made it to 23 weeks! One more week until Viability! :)

So far, everything is good. BP this morning was a beautiful 110/60 and no swelling in hands or feet yet. Overall, I'm feeling well. I remember with DD#1, my feet were so incredibility swollen by 25 weeks. I can't remember when it started exactly. So, I'm taking it one day at a time.

Work is prepared for me to go out early again- they have coverage for me starting in June. :? I'm hoping to prove them wrong.

So, everything is good for now. I know it can change in an instant but for now, baby and I are both healthy. :D
As I get closer to 28 weeks though, I get more and more nervous. I feel like I'm waiting for the ball to drop, so to speak. I know there's nothing I can do to shake this feeling but I'm SO SCARED. I just want (like all of you) a healthy, full term baby to bring home WITH me from the hospital. I don't want to see another NICU for as long as a live.
