Hi all,
Glad to hear all the good news lately from all of you!
I'm scheduled to be induced this Sunday (July 28) at 37 weeks 2 days. I'm not thrilled with the birthdate (I have a numbers thing) and wish it could be the 29th, but I'm going by my OBs schedule. My docs decided they did not want to tempt fate and go too much beyond 37 weeks. Everything looks really good still. He is passing weekly NSTs with flying colors. I'm about 2 cm dilated and 40-50% effaced right now. His head is down and it sounds like the back of his head is not against my backbone.
I'm scared and anxious mostly due to the expected pain. I have heard that induction goes fast and the contractions are worse. I plan to get an epidural. Hopefully things will go quickly since this is my second delivery. At least he'll be on the smaller side but healthy!
I'd appreciate any prayers and/or positive thoughts!
Sarah
