30 week appointment update!

Postby princess purr » Wed Oct 09, 2013 08:25 pm

30 week Peri appt went well... baby is measuring two weeks ahead and is estimated to be 4 pounds already! Didn't get one pic because he was facing my back. Obgyn appt went good as well bp 100/68! Haven't gained any weight yet. The nurse said trace for urine, but she stirred the sample with the stick, didn't just dipped the stick... so I'm thinking it was neg and the blue dye from the above test made the yellow a lil green. I did the test last night at home and it was fine. I got my flu shot! Hoping the next six weeks go by smooth and uneventful :-) Our elective 4/d u/s was a total bust... baby would not let us get a good face picture. going back in two weeks for since they couldn't get good pics.

WOO HOO! 30 weeks is fantastic! And I'm so happy to hear how well you're doing. Wonderful, and keep on doing your thing!
DS born Dec. 2008 at 38.5w gestation. Mild PE diagnosed 3 hours before he was born
DD born Dec. 2010 at 40w1d. BP was slightly elevated since 37w, and climbed while in labor (started on my own). Severe PE diagnosed hours after DD born.
DD born Sept. 2013 at 38w. Induced (and I had to fight for it!) due to high blood pressure. No protein, but had brisk reflexes and clonus after delivery. Doc gave me a mild preeclampsia diagnosis anyway and said I'm likely to be a chronic hypertensive later in life.

hanging in, things are still moving along good! Baby passed his first non stress test yesterday, they warned me that I could get admitted after each non stress test if the baby doesn't pass, so I'm going to get the hospital bag totally ready to bring with us every week. I have 4 more NSTs to go and then the c-section! Hopefully the next OBGYN appointments will go good and blood pressure will stay down.
