Thanks for the update. If I'm doing my math correctly, your wife should be a little over 37 weeks at this point. In my non-medical opinion, it's great that she is still pregnant.
Just out of curiousity, did your wife see a maternal-fetal specialist? And what is his plan to lower your wife's proteinuria? (I ask these questions because as a husband, I, too, would want to make sure that the proteinuria level was going down and that my wife and child were in good hands.) I have never heard of Brick Layers Syndrome; sorry to hear that your wife was diagnosed with it. I hope that your wife's specialist is someone that you are comfortable placing your wife and unborn child's lives in his hands, that you can ask him any question and he answers it to your satisfaction, and that his course of treatment keeps your wife and child healthy and strong.
