The Preeclampsia Foundation suggests you call and alert your physician when you note symptoms such as abdominal pain, especially in the right upper quadrant or nausea and vomiting, or if you develop headaches, blurred vision, or general irritability. Also be sure your blood pressure and baby's are being checked on a weekly basis at least, including electronic fetal monitoring of the fetus if you are past your 32 week mark. Do not be afraid to complain about seemingly minor symptoms nor to ask your physician to consult "a high risk obstetrics subspecialist" (if he/she is not one already).
