This patient describes several symptoms of concern that have developed three months postpartum after a gestation that was terminated at 35 weeks for preeclampsia. A one paragraph description is of course too sketchy for definite comments, except to say any patient developing edema and possibly jaundice should seek medical care immediately, preferably from an internal medicine specialist. The probability that these symptoms are related to preeclampsia are nil, but the possibility of what was called preeclampsia at 35 weeks might have been superimposed on another disorder, or not preeclampsia but a manifestation of that disorder is greater.
I hope this response helps.
