I have been experiencing a dull headache for about 5 days now. OTC meds have not helped. Also, my hands have been swelling off and on during the day. I phoned my doctor and he acted as though it was typical. This is my 3rd pregnancy and I havent experienced this before. With my first I had elevated blood pressure and swelling but not until the last 2 months.
Should I be concerned? Should I request any tests at my appointment on monday?
Thank you for your help!

While you do have a risk for developing hypertension later in pregnancy, preeclampsia at 15 weeks would be very unusual. Headaches are common in pregnancy as is swelling. While these symptoms after 24 weeks could be a sign of impending preeclampsia, they are not overly concerning right now.

If the headaches persist, I woud suggest that you see your doctor and have your BP checked.
