That would be me as well.
I was formally a radio disc jockey (hence the name) and when I found out I was pg with Jaidyn I quit to being my new SAHM job, been doing soooo well I got promoted to SAHM to 4!!

ME, ME!! I love it!! We made the decision right there in the hospital once Braden was born( born at 33 weeks). We knew he needed extra care and I wasn't about to have go to a daycare with being born early like that. Once he was a healthy little guy my work let me put about 10 hours in a week and I did so on DH's days off so he could be with him at hom. Then when Braden was 9 months old I quit to stay home full time. I just hated leaving Braden and not spending time with DH on his days off and we were doing pretty well with money so it wasn't a concern. So I've been staying home full time for about 2 years now and I LOVE it!! It's just so great being able to stay home with Braden when he is young like this, they grow up so fast:)

I'm home, too, and love it! I teach piano lessons for about 7 hours a week, and it has been the best additional income with me being able to still be home with the kids.

Me too! Me too! I was a dissertation away from my PhD when I got pregnant with my girls and a semester away from starting a faculty position at the same university my DH is at. Well, faculty job and triplets didn't quite seem to go together, so I gave up the job. Then, after we lost our girls, I just didn't have the head to dive back into school and then I got pregnant with Xander just 6 months later. Now, here I am!! I am so happy to be able to be home with him. It is truly the most challenging thing I've ever done, but I love spending my days with my little guy. I know I'll go back to work eventually (doing what, I have no idea), so I am trying to enjoy every minute.

I'm a SAHM by day and student by night :) I've always worked until I got pregnant with Carson... turned out to be a difficult pregnancy from the beginning so I quit my job and I've stayed home ever since... which has given me the opportunity to return to school ;)

I quit my job around 32 weeks with Zachary and have been at home since (2/06). I had been working in daycare and we figured I would make about $50 a week after paying for daycare and the commute to get there so it wasn't worth it. I'm thinking I'll go back to work part-time once he starts school and go from there. I must say that being a SHAM is definately a full-time job with added benefits that are priceless!

I'm also a SAHM, though not initially by choice. I was the only female product line manager in our company globally and had very high aspirations (eventually wanted my boss' job - he's the president of north america).

Comparatively speaking, I work harder and more hours (is that really possible???) than I ever have, including while working and going to grad school ...
