I am really hoping that Tuesday's weigh-in will be the silver lining of this weekend's stomach bug. This is our first year of daycare, and it might kill me. In other good news, my back to work clothes now appear to have very stretched out arm holes. I do not want to know if I was actually that big or if they are just cheap.

Since I just started this weekend I'm weighing in next week...I don't have the heart to get on that scale.

I have a loop from my Nov. '03 baby & we just started doing weigh in Wed. so today I weighed-in first thing & I was 178.2!! I know I didn't lose over a pound over night but I do weigh more as the day goes on so this was nice to see. :)

High Weight: 131
Height: 5'3"
Current Weight: 130
Loss/Gain: 1 pound!

I have been watching what I eat and exercising a little bit more. I have been sick too though, so it's been a challenge getting motivated! Aunt Flo is coming this week, so staying away from the chocolate should be fun :) I'll take the 1 pound loss and hopefully it will get easier! Congrate Kara...that's awesome!

I'm going to jump in with you guys next week. I've been sick and just not had the energy to think about what I ate or get my tush to the gym. But, now that I'm feeling better...I'd like to at least not gain anything through these holidays :)

High weight: 179
Height: 5'9"
Current Weight: 174
Loss/Gain: -5 lbs YAY!

I also struggled to get into it this week also. I have not started my excercise program yet, but I have started portion control and watching what I eat.

High Weight: 175 (post baby)
Height: 5'6"
Current Weight: 161
Loss/Gain: 0

I focused on getting healthy, breathing, and returning to normal this week. So, three pilates workouts, too much stress = too many brownies, and no cardio work. I have had almost a week of trouble-free breathing, and I am starting couch to 5K from coolrunning.com this week. I would prefer to lose weight, but not gaining is something of an achievement after eating pretty badly for a few days.
Congrats Kara!

Amanda,
You were probably gaining muscle from all that training and running....which will pay off in the long run as muscle is what will burn the fat! GREAT JOB! And how awesome you ran a 5k. If I could run 2 blocks I'd be happy. I was considering doing the Couch potato to 5k training, but I have hypermobile joints and I just can't figure out how to do it without injuring myself.
