I walked up to school a few times this week (yeah!!) but it's that time of the month & I am very bloated - even on HCTZ - UGH! Plus holiday baking & eating has started.

Teresa....Mmmmmm Chocolate milk. :) I'm always really energized after a workout I'm running around the house doing dishes, reorganizing. I've been contemplating setting my alarm and getting up before the girls so I can workout, shower. It's great on paper, but doing it...well, we shall see.

I'm just jumping in this week...and a day late too (thanks to the kids having a stomach bug the last few days). My main goal is to not gain anything through the holidays and get my tush into the gym a bit more.

I cheated this week... After baking/eating a ton of cookies, I got a stomach bug from daycare. It wasn't too bad, and it helped erase the cookies. I also fit in a walk while something was warming up at work and did a pilates class on Tuesday. I hope this week will be better. WE have in-laws in town so we can ski, or at least hike.
Stacy - my husband is in the same situation, and he seems to have better luck sleeping after he drinks a good recovery drink (his favorite is chocolate milk) and stretches for a bit.

I gained 2 lbs! :p BUT...I've started jogging on the treadmill and I've been watching what I eat. I've realized the only way to work out is when the girl's go to bed, but now after I work out I can't sleep b/c I'm all wired. I can't win!

This was an awful food week and I'll take only gaining .5. We had 3 pre-thanksgiving thanksgiving meals for various groups. Trying to get back on track for a couple of days, and make it through Thanksgiving. My goal is to loose a total of 10lbs before New years....just to keep all the holiday munchies in moderation. Hope you girls had a better week than me.
