Michelle Duggar has preeclampsia

I'm on an email list with some people who are friends of the Duggars. Michelle is hospitalized and being flown to another hospital closer to a children's hospital. She was hospitalized with gallbladder problems and they said they were going to do surgery and that she had some seriously high BP. Then there was another update from from Josh and Anna Duggar that Michelle has been diagnosed with preeclampsia. They are hoping people would please remember Michelle and the baby in your prayers. She is 23-24 weeks pregnant.

Please just move this to another forum if this isn't the right one. I wasn't sure where to post it...

She will be in my prayers. I love watching them on TV. She must be really scared right now :(

I know. :( She was apparently flown to the other hospital yesterday and my source hasn't got any more updates. I really hope she can hold out for a while and baby is ok.

I feel like I am just going to be on pins and needles this whole pregnancy wondering, "Will that be me?"

Oh no!! On the episode not too long ago where she recounted each of her children's births, she mentioned that she had preeclampsia in one of her pregnancy's (I think it was with the twins)...so I know she's had it once already. I hope her and baby are okay. Maybe this will bring more awareness...

Hoping for a positive update...

I told my husband about this last night and I burst into tears telling him. I remember being so scared in my first pregnancy and being transferred to a hospital with a NICU, and them telling me how both our lives were in grave danger. I cannot imagine what she is going through, and to be so early in her pregnancy is even more scary. We met a family in the NICU who had a 23 weeker and she is doing well 8 years later. I hope and pray that everything turns out well for the Duggars.
