Signs that a MC wont happen?

I have never had a miscarriage, but now that I am much more aware of everything as well as have a clotting disorder, I am of course freaked out a bit. I got a positive test at 3 weeks 2 days. I am now 4 weeks. Is there any signs that would say your less likely to have a miscarriage?

Does your risk go down after you hear a heart beat?

Any input would be great. I am tryin not to think about things like this but of course Its impossible!

Sorry I have nothing to help you as far a signs of not having a MC. However when I had mine I did not get any symptoms of pregnancy, no morning sickness, sore boobs, tiredness, nothing. So from my experience after having my son is that if you are having symptoms it is a good sign, at least it was for me! And I am pretty sure your risks drop after there is a heartbeat. Hope I've helped a little :-)

Your statistical risk drops significantly once they find the heartbeat. If I remember something, it drops to something like 1-5%. Still possible, but much less likely. Generally, symptoms are good signs- morning sickness, sore breasts, etc.

The second time I got pregnant (after a miscarriage), my hCG levels were checked to make sure the pregnancy was progressing.

I agree with jen01. When I had a miscarriage, I didn't feel pregnant. Not tired, not hungry, etc. It actually made it easier because I knew from the beginning that things probably wouldn't stick. It was my 2nd loss in a row though, so it was still tough. Hang in there!

Thank you. I am very tired and my HGC levels went up as they were supposed to. My progesterone went from 22 to 17...so that worries me a bit...I also have no other symptoms of pregnancy...not nauseous so of course that makes me nervous

Just wanted to let you know that I never had nausea with any pregnancy or the regular "symptoms". It may just be different for you this time. Don't stress! =0)
