Couch to 5k
Re: Couch to 5k
I started couch to 5K twice last year. The flu disrupted the first attempt, but the second was a rousing success. I built up to a half-marathon in about six months after I started. I think C to 5K is a great program for anyone who needs to get moving again. I am glad it is working so well for you!!

Re: Couch to 5k
I am jumping on board. I just started day one and I am going on a month and a half of yoga every day. Hopefully I will get my body back soon!

Re: Couch to 5k
You can google Couch to 5k and it will bring up a site called Cool Runnings. You can print the whole 9 week plan for free. I also found an app for my Ipod/Ipad for 99 cents that talks you through each workout and gives encouragement. The workout has you alternate running and walking. It's really doable and I can feel that I progress each time.

I've never heard of it--but it sounds wonderful. Where can I find more information, and how do I get started?

Couch to 5k
Has anyone else tried the Couch to 5k plan? I thought it would be a good way to get my cardio in better shape before TTC. It has been awesome! My BP has dropped by 10 points and I might be able to go down to only one medication! yay!
