it's going fairly well. There are 10 of us on the committee and I had gotten 50 names on my own as of Wednesday. I called to get the total count and imagine my shock when they said, "60". I'm praying everyone just hasn't turned in their names. The head of the vigil told me to "keep the faith" and that's when I remembered this board. I've gotten about another 50 names between here, the loss and grief group, the share community at MOD and HELLPSyndrome.org. I was able to get 500 candles donated so I'd love to have that many names. I also met with family support staff at Riley hospital for Children (that's where my Riley was) and they were going to go to the NICU and start collecting AND convince the doctors/nurses to attend. This is going to be an absolutely beautiful tribute to all of these kids, especially all the littlest angels up in heaven. I get a little teary whenever I think too much about how special it's going to be. We're currently firming up the Emcee(s) and families who are going to speak. I'm supposed to start doing radio ads in the next couple of weeks on some of our major radio stations. (here's hoping I get the message across!) We're also tying pink and blue ribbons all over the city and we've convinced about 20 businesses in downtown Indy to light up their buildings in pink and blue (Timeless Beauty - if you see that, that's what it is :) )
