Slacking... but update on Baby Jack!
Re : Slacking... but update on Baby Jack!
I LOVE JACK!! So proud of you and him and to be your friend! And, of course, his angel is proud too!

Thanks for the update! Glad to hear Jack is doing so well! Keep up the good work Crys!

Heather I do have a front carrier and he loves it! :) But it kills my back! blah! I actually wish I would have bought a different one.. this one holds him funny and I feel like he is uncomfortable and it puts his chin to chest which I do not like. But it was 40 bucks so I try and deal with it.

Yay, Crystal! I'm so happy for you! You need a front baby carrier - given how much he wants to be snuggled up with you, you can pop him in and go about the dishes. The shower? Maybe not so much! ;)

Congratulations on the little man!!!
Sofia will tolerate the swing and almost never lets me put her down during the day ... BUT - she knows when it's naptime (afternoon nap) and bedtimes are generally great (with exception to tonight, she only slept about 5 hours before waking up ... she's been sleeping longer!!!)
Hope you continue to have lots of fun!

I guess I didn't realize I haven't updated! :) Jack came home on March 25th so he was in the NICU for only 4 days! :) He has done GREAT! When he came home he was 5lbs 2 oz and we had a check up today and he now weighs a whopping 7lb 9oz!!! He does great eating despite being a tad premature and having his cleft. He is a little champ! He is generally a good baby. For 2 days he had a belly ache and would just cry and cry and I thought maybe I was going to have a colicky baby but the last 2 days have been uneventful. Knock on wood! He smiles alot and has since being only 3 days old. :) He tracks well and loves to watch the fan. He isn't too big into his swing.. he will set in it but doesn't really like it to be on. haha! And he pretty much hates his bouncy seat. Oh joy! I'm hoping when he gets bigger he will like these things better. It's hard for me to find something to do with him while I shower and do dishes and such because he doesn't like his bouncy or the travel swing so really the only other option is holding him!
He sleeps okay at night although he would much rather sleep with mommy than in his cradle. :) I try not to make a habit of it at night but amazingly enough my 5 week old knows that when daddy leaves for work he gets to go in bed with mommy. haha.. It's like clockwork! ha!
