Bethany is coming home

The doctor said she can come home at last! 11 days seems like a lifetime! But then again, for her it has been!

yes 11 days must seem like it just stretched out forever. How wonderful to take her to her new home and have her start her new life with you. When will she come home, today, tomorrow? Do you have a special "going home" outfit? Congratutulations!

She came home this afternoon. We are very happy to have her here. My 3 year old has decided that she liked having a baby sister at the hospital more than having her here. that is because she got to spend the day with me in the NICU the other day. (Our hospital has the individual room concept, so they are able to be a bit flexible with how they do visits.) I think she liked all of the alone time between feedings.
