Proud Preemie Moment

Postby hannahsmom » Fri Jun 18, 2004 05:07 pm

We enrolled Hannah in gymnastics camp this week. The gymnastics coach (who used to be MY coach) said he can't believe she is doing so well for being so young. He said she has talent and will be a great gymnast. He said all this before he knew about her "small" beginnings. When we got home she was wearing her cute leotard and hubby said "I never thought she would be healthy enough to do gymnastics." This brought tears to my eyes because twice the NICU docs prepared us for her death. And now look. I'm just so proud of my one pound wonder.

Thank you, ladies, for your kind comments!

Iansmom, I've been working on dh but he wants to clean out Hannah's baby things this weekend [:(] I'll let you know if it really happens!

Divajennie - I'm glad you live near the Olympic training site - I guess we'll finally meet when our girls are in training!
