Can you let me know how the visit with the speech therapist went? I am having trouble getting my 30 weeker (currently 3 weeks corrected) to finish a bottle. She only needs about 2 oz a feed, but this sometimes takes an hour. I am experimenting with different nipples, but I'm considering asking for a referral to a speech therapist. I love to hear about your experience!

Sorry we missed your question! I'm also sorry that I don't know anything about getting a preemie to take a bottle or pacifier, I hope the speech therapist has some great ideas! We used to have a member who was a lactation consultant and had worked with preemies, I'll try to find her and see if she has any ideas. Good luck to you and Kalynn! Please stick around and ask other questions if you need to!
