I second Jennie.. with her having these problems the gastro doc could help out alot.. I know they helped Wyatt alot. Hoping that all starts getting much better for her and you too.

Samara is doing a little better on the new formula. I dont like the doc she see now until her regular doc comes back. She is perkier and the diarrhea stopped BUT she is still vomiting immediately after each feeding and still no wt gain. He said since she is keeping some formula down and she isnt projectile vomiting that they will 'just watch her' and to come back when she is 2 months old. STUPID if you ask me.any advise. Maybe i am just being irrationable since I am not used to having a good healthy child and dont know anything else. I dont know

Vomiting can be a sign of an allergy. Max was diagnosed with reflux because of the vomiting, and it really was an allergy. Did you say you put her on Nutramigen or alimentum? If not, you probably should, especially since your two sons had problems. And if that doesn't work, don't hesitate to make the switch to Neocate, I think WIC pays for this if it's needed. When we switched to Neocate, the vomiting stopped, it was a god send!

I second Kara's motion. I am also thinking allergy.
J was projectile vomiter also before we knew what was going on.
I just can't stress it enough, that I feel a pediatric gastro. will be your best bet for getting to the bottom of Samara's tummy trouble, and give you the best guidence for her future.

Samara was on the Nutramigen for awhile and had Diarrhea. She is on Pregestimil which is a high calorie formula for preemies and hypoallergenic. We had another rough night. She is acting like her stomach is hurting bad after each feeding. I am trying to call her doc again. Thanks for the advise.

Sandra, Sorry you are having such problems. She just sounds like Wyatt was before they dx his reflux and also, they think he also may have an allergy. have you tried to give her any mylanta?? that may help, I think that was half of Wyatts meal for a while..lol... he had to have so much of it, along with the other stomach meds he was taking. Hopefully they will figure something out really soon. Wyatt lost almost a pound when he first started having the reflux really bad. That is when they finally sent him to the ped. gastro. Now he does so much better. Good Luck!!
