Since she has kept diong it, if you didnt take her in last nite I would suggest taking her in this morning, that dont sound good at all. Sounds like it make be alot more than just the reflux causing that.

Hope all was well overnite.

OMG... glad she is fine. I know that has got to be very scary. I would ask your regular doc about seeing a GI doctor, it sounds like she is getting worse maybe. I wouldnt think a cold would cause that. No expert myself, but I cant recall mine having that happen, Wyatt would just have the reflux and it get into the bronch tubes causing asthma episodes.

I will be thinking of you and Samara.

Need to vent VERY SCARD

Postby samarasmom » Sat Aug 21, 2004 07:43 pm

WEll I know i talked to some of the moms about her GERD and how sometimes she has trouble breathing. I took her in to the doc today and her doc was not there so I had to see the doc who I cant stand. ANyways he said she had a little cold. I noticed that she was having problems breatning thru her nose and was snorting alot and breathing thru her mouth.
I know everyone reassured me that when she stops breathing or chokes that i will hear her.

Tonight I was online and i happened to glance over and she was purple. I was awake and she was quietly choking on a little bit of spit up, there was no vomit , just a little bit of formula in her mouth.
Rest assured she is fine BUT I probably wont be sleeping much since my nerves are shot and will be too scared to fall asleep in fear that I wont hear her in her sleep if I didnt hear nothing when awake

thanks for listening
