kinda OT: BC link to pre-e???

I'm glad that you asked that question to get the responses from these knowledgable ladies[;)]. From what I thought, bc does not cause pe. But, I can't help but wonder if it may play a small part. I know that I was on bc for about 3 years straight before getting preg(with the exception of being off for 2 months before finding out I was preg). And, I don't plan on getting back on. We just use other methods of not getting preg right now. I'm not saying that I think taking bc causes Pe, because there has been alot of women on bc much longer than me that never got pe. But, I know for myself that, I am just trying to do everything different for next time, and being off of bc for a long while is one of them.

I stopped bc about five years before becoming pregnant, so I can't imagine it is a strong link, if any.

Good question, though.
