Corine is in Critical condition

Oh, Susan...I'm so sorry to hear about your precious baby's struggles. We had two big scares while Hannah was in the NICU. She had caught two infections, and both times the nurses seemed to have given up hope. I would not give up, and neither did little Hannah. She's standing right here helping me type this note. You and your little baby are definitely in our prayers. Stay strong for your little one. We're thinking of you.

Susan, I really understand your despair. It's impossible to stay positive all the time, but preemies often surprise everyone - even the doctors. Take it hour by hour, and take care of yourself and your dh. Thinking of you with hope and love.

Susan, I have been reading your posts and thinking about you and Corine. I went through what you are going through with both of my twin girls. Both had NEC and were in critical condition more than once. They both had surgery for NEC and are SURVIVORS!!. Don't give up hope...Corine needs you to be there and be strong for her.
Please e-mail me if you have any questions or just want to chat. At this point, I am an unofficial NEC and NICU expert...we had a very rough NICU ride, but made it out and turn 10 months old tomorrow.
