do we know where the 2006 annual meeting will be?

I'm dying to go to next year's meeting and see everyone in person. When is it normally decided about where and when the annual meetings are?

For 2006 it is not decided yet. If a local group will take the burden of organizing it, then we might have a meeting.

I think the 2007 one will be in San Diego.

I'll help if it is in SC and I will come too! I can think of all kinds of places to hold it at and there are plenty of things for the families and stuff to do that are low cost there (zoo - Columbia, Aquarium - Charleston, beaches, sun, county water parks, malls). Still dreaming here that it can be in SC.

Thanks Ileana! I appreciate it. I am not sure if we can do it or not but it would be worth a shot to see what is involved. There are 4 of us very active in our state, and 2 others that do post on occasion. I think in all I have 16 registered members in my state. This might be something that would get them more involved.1

Lori, I'm afraid to take on too much, but if the conference seriously comes to SC I will help as much as I can. Of course, I would love to have it near enough that I could attend, and that would be awesome to have it in SC! I agree with you, though, let's find out more about what is involved and see if we think we can handle it. [:)]

That sounds good Jenn..I have a lot on my plate as well, and I am not sure w/us all living a good distance apart how it would work but I will email the ladies that Ileana suggested and see exactly what we'd have to do. I would love for us to all get together though.

Hey, here's a thought...Say if we don't have a conference per se, could we just pick a place (don't know how we'd go about this) and just all meet and hang out for a long weekend sometime?
