Weekly Weigh In

Postby jennie » Wed Nov 12, 2003 08:30 am

Hi Everybody!!!

Well, Wednesday is the day I weigh in, so here it is, the good, the bad and the ugly.

start/current/goal
212/202/158

So YaaaY, I am down 10 pounds!!!

I started working out again this week and it feels great.

Very Short term goal, hope I am below 200 by next week.

Short term goal, Fit into my black dress comfortably for all the Christmas parties coming up starting Dec. 5,6 and 13.

Long term goal, To be at my goal and a "hottie" by my 30th birthday Aug. 2004

Another drive for me is that my mom who is also very overweight is coming (with my dad) to stay with us for the winter (we live in Fl. they live in Il.) and help me with the kids so I can work. I want to lose enough weight to inspire her to start the weight watchers program too. I am concerned about her health and future.

It is good to have goals!!!

If anyone else is trying to lose weight, you dont have to post your actual weight if you dont want to, but lets check in once a week for moral support.

Jennie, I'm watching with fascination, you are so organized and in control. I'm thinging that this is like something on Discovery Health! The working out is great and should be bringing you much closer to the slinky black dress. You go [8D][8D]

Progress is progress, Jenny. Way to go! Sorry I have been out of the loop for a while. I was teaching and having computer problems. Good luck this week!

IF you don't mind me asking how much did you gain during your pregnancy? I started a 165 and with three weeks to go am at 221, it is very frustating to me. I have an athletic build and have always been active. Since I became pregnantI have been restricted as to what I can do because I keep throwing my back or hips out and having to see a Chiropractor. So I just keep getting stretchmark after stretch mark and although I have cut out almost all sweets, except for the occaasional small bowl of icecream, and have been eating as healthy as I can I keep packing on the pounds. Is there any hope of me getting back to my pre preg size by the summer. I live in Florida too and cannot stay off of the water!(Crystal River, Citrus County, FL)
Any suggestions so that I can get on this as soon as I pop this precious baby out?
