Help with baby rash question??

Girls I need your experience....
Indy has this fine little red bumps rash all over her head, face, neck, left arm, and upper back and upper chest. I had called the ped's office last week when it started and they said it was baby acne, but it is just horrible and it gets worse and spreads more everyday. if I run a wash cloth over it lightly, when I'm washing her face and stuff(water only) it all turns really bright red or when she cries it gets super red. It looks terrible and I feel like she looks diseased..is this normal? I can't find any pictures of what baby acne should look like and I have no experience in this area. Please help [:)]

It looks awful doesn't it?! Sort of alienish. It is normal and it will go away but, sometimes it takes a while. I am sure the ped told you not to pick at it...baby's skin scars easily. I found washing their skin every day makes it worse. Let her go a few days between water baths. It does eventually clear up. In the mean time no trips to Mars [:D].

thank you and yes you were right, the ped told me all normal, just a bad case of it. i had to go in anyways due to her colic issues, but nice for them to tell me its all normal. i need a book with pictures of all the normal childhood ailments...ahh baby crying..must go now..
