I hope your son is alright Jenny. When is his appt? You will have to let us know how things go. I was happy that the ped card was able to see us in two weeks rather than having to wait month or so to get in.

He went for an echocardiogram of his heart and it showed all was normal other than the murmer, so we are very glad. He will have a follow up in about 4 months or so.

My daughter is almost 2 (23months) we went to the Ped when she was sick a couple of months ago and they found a murmer. This is the first time we have ever heard of it. Her ped said she thinks its nothing and we will watch it during her well check ups. I wasn't too concerned because the Dr made it sound like it is normal???? I wonder if I should ask to see a specialist.

Sorry, I completely forgot to post about DD's appt. Things went well. He says she has an innocent pulmonary outflow murmur, but he wants to recheck her after she turns one in May. They tried to do an EKG, but she wouldn't sit still so the attendent gave up. He was giong to order a chest xray, but was able to use the one she had in Nov(from her reflux problems). Thankfully I didn't have to watch her go through the xray again--that contraption is horrible! He told me that all three of his boys had innocent murmurs when they were young and all are good today. He also said he sees alot of preemies with murmurs. So, I'm happy for now and will recheck with him in a couple months where hopefully Ariana will be a bit better behaved![:)]
