I was never really large, either before pg or when lactating...I wore sports bras and just pulled up which ever side I was nursing on and then pulled it down when I was done! The are so comfy and no hooks to fumble with when you have a rooting baby :) I have never gone back to a regular bra...I must say that I prefer cotton over anything silky, so they are a dream for me!!
I can't believe that you are getting soooo close :) I am very excited for you!

Thirding the Goddess 411, which has amazing engineering. There's no way to tell what size you'll be postpartum -- I gave up and went to a specialist lingerie store, and it was totally worth it, because those ladies can just look at you as you walk in, and put you straight into something that works.

Thanks for all the great advice ladies! I know I can always count on you! I do have a few at home now, so I think that I will stick with those to get me by. Push comes to shove, I can send out my sister to help me out!

Really... the best thing I ever did was find a N0rdstr0ms [;)], get sized and buy the Goddess Nursing Bra (also made by said company). I only bought two because a $40 bra is quite expensive for me, but after a couple weeks of wearing, I bought two more. They are durable, wash and wear well and are awesome. So comfortable! I tried many, many nursing bras before trying these and I don't know what I'll do when I stop nursing... I love this bra!

I was advised to wait until after my baby was born to buy my nursing bras and that's what I did. I had a few cheapies to get me through until then.

Good luck!

i got a sport version from a brand that makes breast pumps, it was comfy for sleeping.....but my everday type was cotton, cooler and not cheap...about $50 from jc penney catalog, white cotton....i had a fitting and cup size was up over 2 cups bigger but band size was the same for me by about 3 weeks postpartum.

I have a litte advice. I was advised that _____ (also makes pumps) made the best nursing bras and I bought a couple of them - very expensive. I learned, however, that they are very hot and I much preferred the cheaper models sold at that store in the mall - can't remember the name of it. I've no advice on size as I've not really figured that out even when not pg. Congrats. Can't wait to get an update.

Wow ... 2 days left!!! HUGE congratulations to ou and your family!!!! YEAH!!!!

At first, I bought a cup size larger, cause boy did the girls get big!!! :)

I'm now comfortably wearing my non-prego, non-BF size. My absolute favorite bra is by Bravado's Lifestyle Nursing Bra. (And I've tried lots of them over the past 15 months!)

Good luck to you!!! and way to go!!!
