Update on Anna...

Hello all! Hope that everyone is doing well. As you can imagine, things are hectic. We are adjusting well though. It all revolves around Adrianna's schedule. lol

She is such a gem! Truely a blessing from God! Anna is just so laid back. I keep thinking "that will change", but so far its great! She only cries when she is hungry! Literally. Its hard to imagine, Will was so hands on all the time. He hated his baths, diaper changes, etc, etc...She is just totally the opposite. Hard to imagine they are related. lol

At Anna's one week checkup she was 5 lbs and 12 oz. Her two week, she was 6 lbs 8 oz. So, she put on quite a bit in a week. Cant wait to see what her one month is next week! Hard to believe that she will be 4 weeks on Tuesday! Where has the time went?

I gained only 4 lbs during my pregnancy. I have lost a total of 27 lbs at 3 weeks post partum. 23 of which is pre-pregnancy weight. Dont ask how I am doing it. I have no clue! But am quite happy!! [:D] I had to go and buy new clothes the other day. Woo Hoo! I am feeling great. My BP is ALMOST back to normal. But not quite. My labetalol is down to twice a day at only 200mg each time. Have these miserable headaches though. Was told by my OB to see my PC, they were probably migraines. YUCK! [xx(]

Thanks all for your wonderful friendship and strength to get me through the last 9 months, it means so much to me!

She's a real cutie, and I agree she looks like an Anna. Glad to hear you're feeling well, too!

FYI: If they decide you need to stay on bp meds and your migraines continue, ask your doctor about atenolol; I haven't had a single migraine since I started on it. I'm taking it for bp, of course, but the lack of migraines is a welcome side effect.

She is just too cute!! And, your nursery is great - did you guys do that yourself?!

So glad that you both are doing well! I hope the migraines subside soon, I've heard the same thing from one of my dr.s about atenolol reducing migraines.

She is sooo cute! It's so nice to see you and your baby are doing well. Everytime I hear of someone having a good outcome who have had PE gives me hope.

Ok, Anna has had a clogged tear duct from a few days of age. Its not getting any better! Worse! I have to wipe green gunk and access water out of it every few minutes, literally! We have our good days and bad days with it. She also has had a stuffy nose and sometimes runny for weeks now. It has not turned into anything else. Just stays confined. Thank goodness!

Here is my question! Has anyone had the clogged tear duct this bad?! And...if so do you think the stuffy nose could be related? The opthomologist told me that this is normal....althoug, I did not ask about it being related. She goes for her one month this week so I will be sure to ask.

Evan just got over a blocked tearduct at 5 1/2 months old. Somedays it was just terrable and some days it would just weep a little. The doctors kept telling me it would go away with time which I was skeptical about but it did clear up. I dont know if there is a connection either but he used to have a constant stuffy nose that we would have to do the saline and aspirator routine 3-4 times a day.

I hope she gets better. BTW she is an absolute doll.
