Update on Anna...

Yeah, Janie had it and one of the others (I can't remember who [:I]). We used a warm wash cloth several times a day. It eventually stopped oozing. My niece had to have the procedure to open hers (at about a year I think???) What does your doc say about it, Sherry?

My Ped says its normal. Anna's does the same thing though. Some days its HORRIBLE! Oozing yellow crap constantly!! Literally every few minutes. Then some days its great.

Yesterday and today it has been great. However, she has not been outside what so ever! I wonder if this has alot to do with the wind and producing extra tears?!

But yeah, we use the bulb syringe constantly too! UGHH!

Poor little pupmkin!! A good friend of mine's daughter had a clogged tear duct until she was about 8 mo.'s!! I hope little Anna's heals up much quicker!!!

Hi Sherry, my Noah had a clogged tear duct and the doctor told us to do the warm wash cloth and he also gave us some drops to put in his eye. I don't know how many of the drops actually made it into his eye (as you can imagine, it was difficult with a newborn :). My doc said most kids grow out of it and Noah did after a few months. Noah was always very stuffy too but my doctor said that was just normal baby stuffiness- I'm not sure if the two are related.

Congratulations. Anna is beautiful and glad to hear things are going well.
