Hehe, I totally understand the jeans part. I had a weekly checkup with my cardiologist for 2 months Post partum and after each one that I had lost weight I'd go check to see if I fit. Like Tracy, I had to wait 2-3 months to exercise. And I could only walk.


Giselle - born 6/04 @ 35wks, severe sudden preeclampsia by emergency c-section.

I had Postpartum Preeclampsia also and was not able to exercise until after 3 months my blood pressure took that long to come back to normal. Take it easy and follow the doctors instructions. It was a long recovery for me as it leaves you very weak. Good Luck and take care of yourself now and worry about the jeans when you are fully recovered.

I walked my dogs. It is a good, effective and safe exercise and pretty easy on the joints which are still relaxed from the pregnancy hormones.

My doctors have told me to take it easy to try to control my blood pressure. I am also still kind of weak on my feet and dizzy sometimes. I was on bedrest for 5 weeks and have only just come off it. I am going for my six week checkup on May 10. I would like to try to exercise if it is allowed. Has anyone here been able to exercise with post partum preclampsia, and if so, what kind of exercises were you allowed? I would like to try to shed some of these pregnancy pounds and get into my jeans again!!!!!!
