Congratulations, she is such a cutie. I'm highly partial to Emilys, my eldest niece shares her name [:)]. Can't wait to see more pics.

Thank you. Her name is Emily. These pics are when she was newborn, so I need to locate some more updated ones...but here they are. :)

I am so glad you are feeling better. It must be such a huge relief! Glad your baby is doing so well!! Good weight gain:) What is her name? I am sorry however that your body has a difficult time dealing with pregnancy, it must be a really hard thing to deal with. I hope that you can come to some peace with this but give yourself sometime to process and feel all of this. Thanks for the update!!!

I think I am finally starting to get better...pics
I had my six week checkup on Monday, and I also had to attend a funeral that afternoon for a close family member. My bp was 150/106, and I explained my situation to them, still preeclampsic and upset, so they said not to worry about my bp right now, so I didnt. I am still on Altace, Norvasc, a diuretic, Celexa, calcium and iron tablets. Fortuneately, my checkup went well and I am all healed. I started to feel better once the funeral was over, and I took my bp this am before I took my meds, and it was 144/89. My doc also said that it sounds like I should be getting my period again in a couple of weeks, which I am glad to hear because my hormone levels should be back to normal again, which means I may actually be beating this thing. I am starting to do light housework again, and am not so dizzy now. I may acutally be able to drive by myself again too!
My baby is doing excellent. She was 5lbs 15 oz at birth on April 1st, and is now 8lbs 10 oz. I had to switch her to a soy formula however because we found out she was lactose intolerant and was gassy and fussy on her old formula. She is doing excellent on the new stuff. [:D]
Preeclampsia has forever touched my life. I know I can never get pregnant again because my doctor said that my body cannot handle the pregnancy hormones, which my doctor said is the culprit for me. I know adopting is an option that we will probably look into down the road, but it still breaks my heart that I can never carry again.
