Yay! Lucky lucky!

I know! It just seemed wrong that I could be young and healthy with never any bp issues and then have it control me for the rest of my life. I too am glad to hear that I am not the only one, Cosmogirl, but I am sorry you too are dealing with it!

Yeah!!!

Thanks Jamie. I think part of it was just time (for me), but I don't think my diet hurts. I cut out all sodium. I haven't been eating any fried food, or canned food. Just fresh fruit, fresh veggies, chicken and 2 slices of lite 40 cal bread per day. Oh, and one Tbsp of lite butter or lite Mayo per day.
I just hated the thought of being 22 and forever having high bp. If it happens again when I am older, then okay, but I don't want to give my youth over to pills permanently yet. :)

4 1/2 months pp and....!
My blood pressure is back to normal. :)
For the past few days I have been getting readings of 118/78. Not absolutely wonderful, but a great deal better than the 140/90 that I have been getting.
YAY!!!
