I wonder what the link to PE and Jamie's spinal problems are? It could in fact be that the hemotosis was preexisting and irriated by the epidural and rise in b/p. Luckily the outcome for all was positive.

I guess that this might be why so many of us end up with general anesthetic when delivering by c-section, or why we have to go without the epidural [:(]... if you have HELLP and low platelets you are at so much higher risk of bleeding.
