So they only looked at women with no prior pregnancies, and they asked about their diets and whether or not they were supplementing vitamin D, and found a 27% reduction in risk of PE in the population supplementing with vitamins.
As always, ask your docs before you supplement -- this is very similar to the preliminary data on C and E, but those turned out not to help in the bigger studies, and the women who supplemented got sicker, quicker.
